Data we hold includes: name, employer, job title, contact details and events you have registered for or attended. We use this data to help us manage events, plan future projects and send you information if you have told us you would like to be kept updated. By browsing the website, your IP address and information on the device you use may be logged for analytics purposes; this information is used in aggregate to help us improve our website.

Third parties

We may share your name and employer with partners (e.g. event venues and sponsors) but will never share your contact details with third parties without your express consent.

We do not sell any personal data we store and do not use it for advertising.

We use Mailchimp and Google services to help us manage events and services and some personal data may be stored on these systems.


The registration information you provide will be held on our database and used for help us manage events and send you information on events you have registered for or may be interested in. Your details will not be passed on to any third parties.

Photographs and/or video are taken at some of our events. These images are used by Future of Greater Manchester for promotional purposes only. This might include (but is not limited to) use in printed and online publicity, social media, press releases and funding applications.


We keep details of people who apply for a position with Future of Greater Manchester or send a speculative CV. The data is kept for no longer than six months from the closing date of the post applied for or after receipt of the CV. All applications are then discarded securely. Our policy is to employ the best qualified person for the job advertised and to provide equality of opportunity to all.

You have the right to view any data we hold on you and to request a copy of it, its correction or its deletion at any time.
