Get connected!

We believe in the power of connection and the benefits of bridging disciplines, sectors and backgrounds. We build and facilitate connection for our alumni, mentors, partners and wider network – in GM and across the UK. We also help join people up around key topics like sustainability, social impact and affordable housing to share experience, resources and learning.

All three networks offer great hosting and sponsorship opportunities for GM organisations (of all sizes) who share our values. Drop us a line if you’d like to find out more.

Alumni Network

On joining Future Leaders or Leaders Plus (in Greater Manchester or London) candidates are automatically part of the local and national Alumni Networks. This group has 700+ increasingly influential practitioners and is a platform for learning, socialising, connecting and career progression – across time and geography.

To find out more about the regional network and what it can do for you, visit our GM Alumni page. For broader opportunities – or recruits to tempt north! – visit the national Alumni Network page.

Mentor Network

We have a growing network of experienced cross-sector professionals who contribute to the development of candidates on our Leadership courses, with access to workshops and networking opportunities as well as the benefits mentoring itself offers. Let us know if you’d like to mentor!

Diverse Voices

This positive, practical network – adapted from FoL’s Speaker Diversity Network – brings fresh voices to urban debate, offering people from under-represented groups training, connection and support, and offering event organisers a growing roster of tested subject experts from diverse groups. Get in touch for info – as a learner, speaker or event host.
